Thanks to everyone who voted on the logo poll! The voting has ended but the search continues! Logo 1 earned the most votes (albeit not unanimous); however, from the comments received via posts and emails from everyone, the decision currently pends on Arnel’s final say. At this point, we are accepting submissions for more logo designs.
The elements needed (but not required) are:
Arnel Pineda Foundation, Inc
Street School Project
The search is open until sometime next week. We will try to post logo submissions as they come. Please continue to express your ideas as they are invaluable.
Please consider that by submitting a logo design, you relinquish to APFI all intellectual property and copyright claims to the logo and as such, APFI will have the right to tweak the design to their liking. Thank you!
Thanks for the reply to my post…Ok here is my official suggestion.. for APF to use the same logo as is here on the site and then for each project school, medical, whatever have special logo for each and shirts just like med mission and other ones done that way there is only ONE APFI “Branding” if u will.. easily recognized just like any big company..just think of coke. pepsi, or any big company all u need to do is see a simple logo and u know the product.. then when a special project comes up incorporate that logo into the logo for street school project.. that way the organization sponsoring the project does not get lost in the projects name..
For example look at the Ako Mismo campaign that Arnel was involved in.. the logo is simple easy and anywhere u see the symbol or part of the simple straight forward design u immediately think Ako Mismo.. maybe someone could research what are easily recognizable brands in Pi and take some suggestions from them..
I will try to come up with printed idea but am not that tech savy… maybe there is someone who can help me out there
BTW is there any way to get a pdf file of the logo already here? tried to coy and paste would not work right.nn1
Do you want a PDF file specifically? The files are PNG; you can save them onto your computer and convert to PDF. But if you are wanting to save the image so you can manipulate it, here are the JPGs:
Here’s another proposal submitted and Cherry wanted me to feature it without the outer stroke. I don’t know if the artist was okay about adding her name, but please feel free to comment! Thank you!
Now, this one is more representative and encompassing of all of the efforts he had done, and/or still doing and will be doing in the future. Glad to have included the date it came about. I’m happy with this one. If the bus photo will make the print look crowded and will need to be deleted it’s up to yall. If AP decides on this emblem I’ll support him too. I guess this one appears to be the simplest and yet most comprehensive and inclusive of what APFInc wants to project to the public awareness. I’m easy whatever AP and Cherry pick, it’s my choice as well. It had been fun to be able to put your comments and input on this special discussion forum. Good luck on your decision. We’ll prop up your choice. Thanks for letting us take part on this important matter. God bless.
Pardon me, I know I was feeling amenable to the above illustration without the bus, come to think of it and IMHO the bus is a kid friendly bonus and attraction to them and they will equate it with school since education seems to be the main priority right now with the APFInc. Thanks again.
I have two ideas. One is a book, signifying education. The other is just a bookmark incorporating a heart which I feel is a very strong and unique mark that can apply to any work that APFI does. Referring to an earlier comment, you need a single strong entity to denote your brand. What you do not need is a mash of forgettable symbols.
Here are my entries.
Or not.. I guess they have to be links?
Jason’s Logo Entry
not bad…at least there is something written on the book. The logo with the heart was also good.
