APFI Founder Arnel Pineda called for a meeting attended by board members and some volunteers regarding the Street School Project. Since he is soon departing for the U.S., he left instructions for the project to be rolled out soon at Barangay Holy Spirit in Quezon City, Philippines.
The project involves teaching 10 children for two hours. APFI’s allotted time is four hours per day, therefore we will have the opportunity to teach 20 kids each visit! APFI is looking at offering two sessions a month, on Sunday afternoons.
On April 21st, board members will scope out the project site and determine their requirements. The team will also be recruiting volunteer teachers to facilitate the project. Two weeks thereafter, the sessions will begin.
Along that line, APFI is in need of school supplies and donations to fund the project. We thank you in advance for any help you can share!
can you give me an idea what are you teaching at during the session?
Hi Jen,
We will start teaching them how to read first and color. We will be teaching kids ages 6-10. Thanks for your inquiry.
Hi Jen,
we will also teaching them good morals and right conduc, proper hygene, and nutrition.
OK, thanks, if you are interested to teach them a higher level like brain wiring and sex and gender, I can help. Maybe on a later part of teaching. Or I can also discuss it with your group, para level-off din ang mga husband and wife….
yey!
just in time for my little shoebox of hope..

Thanks so much for the update ! These kids are so fortunate and blessed to be learning ! I am so proud of all the staff and volunteers for their time and tireless efforts to make a difference ! clap clap clap !!
I’m so happy for the children who will be affected. This is a life changing opportunity for them. It would be great to validate when they grow up and look back to learn that AP and APFI provided them with the chance and tools to be what they have become… I pray for their successes in life. I’m way too advance looking into the future but I pray for the positive outcome and triumphant achievement for each and everyone of the children that will be involved with this commendable and priceless project. .. Prayers are powerful. Just too excited to belong to a worthwhile group like this. My best….
