APFI Founder Arnel Pineda called for a meeting attended by board members and some volunteers regarding the Street School Project. Since he is soon departing for the U.S., he left instructions for the project to be rolled out soon at Barangay Holy Spirit in Quezon City, Philippines.

The project involves teaching 10 children for two hours. APFI’s allotted time is four hours per day, therefore we will have the opportunity to teach 20 kids each visit! APFI is looking at offering two sessions a month, on Sunday afternoons.

On April 21st, board members will scope out the project site and determine their requirements. The team will also be recruiting volunteer teachers to facilitate the project. Two weeks thereafter, the sessions will begin.

Along that line, APFI is in need of school supplies and donations to fund the project. We thank you in advance for any help you can share!
